8-Machumango

It is found mainly in Peru and Colombia, generally in flood-prone areas. It can measure up to 40m high. Its fruits are highly appreciated by rodents. Its wood is very appreciated because it is extremely resistant and very little attacked by termites, it can support a building in a tropical forest for more than 15 years.
